You are marooned on a tropical island. Design a telescope from a cardboard map tube and the lenses of your eyeglasses. One lens has a +1.0 m focal length and the other has a +0.30 m focal length. The telescope should allow you to view an animal 100 m from the objective with the final image being formed 1.0 m from the eyepiece. Don't forget to consider which side of the eyepiece the final image must form and whether the final image is a real image or virtual image.

Determine the required distance between lenses.
