A hollow cylinder with an inside diameter of 30 mm and outside diameter of 40 mm acts as a cantilever beam. A concentrated moment is applied to the free end. Determine the maximum bending stress on the outside surface of the cylinder and the maximum bending stress on the inside surface of the cylinder.
