Ten pounds-mass of R-22 is at an initial volume of 4.059 ft3 and pressure of 200 psia. It is compressed isobarically until its volume is two-thirds of its initial volume. The piston is then held in place as the refrigerant cools until its temperature is 70 F. Determine the heat transfer [Btu] and work transfer [Btu] for the two-step process. Also show the process on P-v state diagram.
