A 110 kg machine is mounted on an elastic foundation with stiffness of 2106 N/m. To determine the damping that the machine is subjected to, an external harmonic force of 1500 N magnitude is applied to it at a rate of 150 rad/s. The vibration of the machine is measured at 1.9 mm. Determine the damping ratio.
