You suspend a 1 kilogram mass from a vertical spring (k=40 N/m) that is attached to the ceiling. After you release the mass, the spring stretches out and the mass falls. Determine how fast is the mass falling when the spring has stretched out 30 cm?

Determine the maximum stretch of the spring? (Determine how far the mass will fall before the spring starts pulling it back up?)
