About our company:
Manitoba Liquor Control Commission, a Crown Agency mandated with regulating, distributing and selling beverage alcohol in the Canadian province of Manitoba.
We are looking for a cashier for Manitoba Liquor Control Commission. This candidate will primarily be providing high-quality customer service. This position requires a high level of professionalism and great attention to detail.
Duties and Tasks:
· Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
· Redeems promotional coupons, food stamps, receives cash, checks, completes credit-card charge transactions, counts back change and issues receipts.
· Places merchandise in bags or boxes and gives packages to customers.
· Assists with inventory of the department.
· Receives and checks in delivered merchandise and places in appropriate storage area.
· Fills displays and stocks shelves.
· Removes trash inside and out in a timely manner.
· Checks in product, puts product away, and may review invoices.
· Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines.
· Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
Requirements for this position:
· Must be fluent in English.
· Must be 18 years of age.
· Cash handling experience is required.
· Must be able to lift 40lbs repeatedly.
· Must have Serving it Right Certificate.
· Knowledge of beer/wine/spirits is an asset.
· Experience in the industry is an asset.
· Basic math.
· Basic computer knowledge
