Requirements

1. Modelling of parts and product assembly. To design the product shown below using part modelling (.ipt) and assembly (.iam) of Autocad 2017.

a) The product designed should have the same parts shown in the drawing provided, but students have to select dimensions and materials.

b) Appearance, functions, design for manufacture and cost may need to be considered.

2. Drawings of parts and product assembly. To generate all drawings (.dwg or .idw)

a) The general assembly drawing includes three detailed views in first angle projection and one section view. The overall dimensions and a list of all parts should be included.

b) Each part drawing should include dimension tolerances, surface finishes, title block and notes should be included on each A4 paper.

3. Report (700 words) in Microsoft Word include:

a) Introduction.

b) Drawings of all parts and assembly in item 2.

c) Conclusions

e) References

4. File names
