In this assignment, you will demonstrate your understanding of personality and motivation, as well as improve your critical thinking and writing skills, by synthesizing theories of personality and motivation. Consider someone with whom you've worked closely-it could be a peer, a manager, a subordinate, or even, if you can't think of anyone else, yourself. Think about that person's personality in general (either as described by the "Big Five" model, or by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, or by any of the other ways we discussed of measuring and studying individual differences). Given what you know of his or her personality, how would you determine which theory or theories of motivation would be most effective for that person's manager to use when trying to help that employee to reach his or her full potential at work?
