Pressure in a room is 1 atm (760 torr). You measure the temperature if tea as it heats up and find it boils at 103.1°C, which is higher than normal boiling point of water at 1 atm. Finally you measure the vapor pressure of the tea once it has cooled down to room temperature and find it is lower than the pressure of pure water at the same temperature.

Explain why tea boils at over boiling point of water and explain how this is related to the drop in vapor pressure observed.
