Six Sigma provides higher-quality outputs at a lower cost. Since the focus of Six Sigma is reducing variation and defects it improves the quality from the start.

Companies will have to worry less about labor costs involved with rework and inspection as well as external costs.

Short-term it may cost the company more money to focus on creating quality products/services.

However, long-term Six Sigma will increase customer satisfaction and long-term profitability.
