Critics of EU enlargement argue that increased expansion of the EU comes at the cost of deeper economic, political and military integration for the original member states. Critics argue that as the organization becomes larger, fewer common interests will lead to greater difficulties in agreeing to and implementing policy. Would you agree or disagree with that critique?
