You are required to compare and contrast the investment performance of REITs in Malaysia and Singapore for the last 10 years using business data analytics (e.g. linear regression/time series/statistical techniques etc.), highlighting any significant changes during this period, e.g. exchange rate control, political changes etc. Finally, you are to build a model and try predict the trends of the REITs for these two countries over the next 6 months, using monthly data. Total 4000 words. Instead of 10 years, you can use 4-5 years data. Query asked from Client: Can you please provide more information on the details you need to add in big data analytics part (theories/framework) etc. which is of 1200 words. Rest all is fine. Client Reply: you can use regressional analysis or time series. With regards to theories/framework, you can look at present value, discounted value discount model, CAPM etc. choose one or 2 drivers of rates that drive real estate. As I mentioned before, 4-5 years of data will do. download monthly prices and convert into returns. Hope this information is helpful.
