Creating a portfolio of reading resources across a range of leadership topics that will change weekly. In the designated weekly thread in the Discussion Board (Title Example: Week 1 Leadership Topics Portfolio, Who is your exemplary leader?), you will post 2 weekly readings about the topic for the week that may be two of the following: • An researched article on the topic from a library resource*, • A book, • A chapter of a selected book, • Web site, • A video • Twitter handle *https://www.fisher.edu/library Your reading resources will also be shared with your classmates and be visible for reply posts. Your post will include the following: • A link to your resource selection and/or proper reference information. • 200 - 300 words of commentary, critique or praise for the resource. You will also offer at least 2 commentary, critique or praise responses for your classmates' "Leadership Portfolio" resource postings each week. Create discussion about the leadership reading resource. Selected leadership topics each week as listed in the syllabus are: • Portfolio Topic Week 1 - Who is your exemplary leader? • Portfolio Topic Week 2 - Leadership Personality Traits and Ethics • Portfolio Topic Week 3 - Power, Politics, Networking and Negotiation • Portfolio Topic Week 4 - Communication, Coaching and Conflict Skills • Portfolio Topic Week 5 - Followership, Teams and Self-Managed Teams • Portfolio Topic Week 6 - Leadership of Culture, Ethics and Diversity • Portfolio Topic Week 7 - Change Management; Learning Organization Weekly Grading Breakdown (6 total points per week**): • 2 points per reading resource for 4 total points • 2 points for 2 classmate commentary, critique or praise responses. • **Week 1 is 4 total points. There is only 1 reading resource assigned.
