The sketch shows a compound system comprised of a heat exchanger, a compressor, a mixing junction, and a valve that has the operating conditions listed below. The fluid is air.

m·1 = 3 kg/s, P1 = 500 kPa, T1 = 600 K, P2 = 1 MPa, T2 = 300 K, T3 = 400 K, P7 = 950 kPa, W·c = 263.9 kW

Complete a thermodynamic analysis of the system using the approximation of constant specific heats. Determine T5, T6, T7, m·2, and Q·int (the internal heat transferred within the heat exchanger). Assume further that the air in the compressor undergoes a polytropic process with n=1.4.
