To win an election and be certified as representing the bargaining unit, the union must:
a. Solicit at least thirty percent (30%) signed authorization cards of the employees in the proposed bargaining unit, submit a petition to the National Labor Relations Board for a representation election and achieve votes that amount to fifty percent (50%) plus one (1) of those voting.
b. Solicit at least thirty percent (30%) signed authorization cards of the employees in the proposed bargaining unit, submit a petition to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for a representation election and achieve votes that amount to fifty percent (50%) or more of those voting.
c. Solicit at least thirty three percent (33%) signed authorization cards of the employees in the proposed bargaining unit, submit a petition to the National Labor Relations Board for a representation election and achieve votes that amount to fifty percent (50%) plus one (1) of all the employees in the Hospital.
d. Solicit at least fifty percent (50%) signed authorization cards of the employees in the proposed bargaining unit, submit a petition to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for a representation election and achieve votes that amount to thirty percent (30%) plus one (1) or more of those voting.
