You have a solution that is a mixture of two compounds, A and B. The molar extiniction coefficient of substance A at 260 nm and 280 nm is 5248 and 3150 respectively. Compound B has a molar extinction coefficent of 311 and 250 at 260 nm and 280 nm respectively. you determine that the solution has an absorbance of 0.83 and 260 nm and 0.67 at 280 nm. Can the individual concentrations of A and B be calculated from these data? If so wat are the concentrations of each compound in the solution?
