A 600 ft vertical crest curve crosses a 4 ft diameter pipe at rightangles at station 110+85. The PVI of the vertical curve is station110+00 and elevation 1098.4 ft with an incoming tangent grade of1.2% and an outgoing tangent grade of -1.8%. If the centerline elevation of the pipe is 1091.6 ft, calculate the vertical distance(i.e. cover) between the top of the pipe and the roadway.
