Calculate the temperature of the gas to burn last

An adiabatic constant-volume combustion chamber is filled with a mixture of air and methane; lambda (AFR/AFRs) = 1.3. The initial temperature of the mixture is 25°C, and its pressure is 1 bar. After laminar combustion from a single ignition source (and ignoring dissociation) the pressure would rise to 7.27 bar. Any heat transfer within the gas may also be ignored. Assume the following values of the ratio of heat capacities:

Unburnt gas 1.377burnt gas 1.237

Calculate:

(a) the temperature of the gas to burn first, immediately after the start of combustion;

(b) the temperature of the gas to burn last, after the end of combustion;

(c) the temperature of the gas to burn last, immediately before the end of combustion; and

(d) the temperature of the gas to burn last, after the end of combustion.

Comment on whether dissociation is likely to be significant, and how it might affect the final pressure, the first burnt gas temperatures immediately after the start and end of combustion, and the last burnt gas temperature immediately after the end of combustion.
