A single-phase, half-wave SCR circuit is used to control the power consumption of an inductive load. The resistive component of the load is 5 Ohm. The source voltage is 120 V (rms). When the triggering angle is adjusted to 60 degrees, the average current of the load is 6A. Calculate the following:

a. Average voltage across the load

b. Conduction peroid in degrees.
