A popular South-West coastal town in Victoria has a resident population of 6000 people during the winter months (April - November). During the summer months (December - March), the town population increases to 9,000 people due to holiday makers. The population growth rate was expected to be 1.5% per year for winter population and 2.5% per year for summer population during the 25 years design period.

(i) Calculate the winter and summer population expected at the end of design period.

(ii) Assuming an average daily water demand of 400 L/(person. day) during winter months and 700 L/(person. day) during summer months, calculate the annual water demand on the water supply at the end of the design period.
