1) A 2-MHz carrier is modulated by a music signal that has frequency components from 20 Hz to 8 kHz. Determine the range of frequencies generated for the upper and lower sidebands of AM signal.


2) An unmodulaed carrier is 300 Vp-p. Calculate %m when its maximum p-p value reaches 400, 500, and 600V of AM signal.
note that modulation percentage is m% = Ei/Ec * 100% where Ei is peak amplitude of the intelligence signal & Ec is peak amplitude of the carrier signal
