Using the data of Problems 1 and , do the following:

1. Chronological load data:

a. From these data, identify the coincident peak and briefly state the significance of the coincident peak. What is the significance of this piece of information to a system planner?

2. Load duration curve (LDC):

a. Construct the LDC (which, of course, will only be for 24 h, and not 8760 h)

b. Identify the numerical values of the two basic pieces of information provided on your LDC-the system peak and the total energy consumed

Problem 1:-
Research and build a data file including 24 h of electrical demand data for 30 residences, 15 shops, and 5 factories, along with some wind speed data. These data might be reasonably fabricated for your studies, but it should be representative of a small downtown district; that is, each hour is associated to the respective load in kWh

Problem 2:-
Taking into account some wind speed data from Problem 1, a second data sheet should be constructed using the generator cost data from USDOE EIA. This data table should have the minimum information needed to calculate the annualized fixed cost values.

Write a report with a spreadsheet in order to discuss the capital costs and required capacity factor.

Include the operating and maintenance (O&M) and find the annual fixed cost amount for such economics based model.

Ignore the electrical power transmission investment costs for this study because they are usually built with governmental support and contracts.
