There has been a great deal of discussion regarding the law and products liability. Many companies feel that the law has gone too far in its protection of consumers and, in turn, many consumers feel that the law is not doing enough to protect them from potentially dangerous products. Discuss one product that has been found either by a court case, the FDA,FTC, EPA, Consumer Product Safety Agency or other such federal agency to be unsafe. Briefly discuss how this came about and what action, if any, the federal agency took in response to the potential danger that the product posed. Do you agree with the action? Why or why not?
