Part 1:

Look at the BoP of 3 different countries: UAE, a developed country, and a developing country for at least a period of 4 years. Include these BoPs in the appendix of your report.

Analyze each BoP and its changes over time.
Compare the BoP components across countries.
Come up with few recommendations to improve the BoP of these countries.

Part 2:

Consider an MNC financial statements.

Based on the financial statements of that MNC, discuss the different FX risks that this MNC is exposed to.
What are the political risks that this MNC is exposed to? How can the MNC decrease this risk?
List few functional currencies of that MNC. How is that MNC hedging its FX risk?
Come up with few recommendations as to how this MNC can minimize its exposure to the FX risk.

Part 3:

Rely on articles from FT, WSJ, or Bloomberg (or any other trustable source) to describe the Chinese exchange rate regime and how china is trying to keep its currency weak and the benefits of that. Talk about the discussion of this issue at all top US-China meetings. Has China strengthened its currency lately? Why would the US push for strengthening the Yun? How can that affect China and US BoPs?
