A student responded to the question below, please give a positive response to the answer; Question 1 What are some of the benefits of Employee Development Programs? Have you participated in an employee development program? If so, was it beneficial to you and in what way? If not, would you want to participate and what would be your goal? I believe Employee Development Programs are not only essential to the growth of the employee, but the growth of the company as well. Development programs encourage career development and goal setting on an individual basis, but also assist with building a strong foundation for the company. Knowledgeable, skillful employees lead to increases in productivity, and company success. I have participated in an employee development program in the past. I found the program to be helpful. It was a series of online courses that employees were allowed to take in their down time while on the clock. The courses were mainly about safety procedures and dealing with difficult clients. I definitely learned a thing or two from the programs that I still use til this day.
