In an essay format, describe your counselling interventions to Dr. Susan Urn using the 8-step ethical decision making model. You are expected to identify her moral dilemma(s) as you may perceive as the counsellor and guide her towards making a moral decision. As a medical professional, she was charged by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) for excessive charging of professional fees.

Task:

1. Explore the full story of the case relating to Dr. Susan Lim and from any related sources to conceptualise the key issues surrounding this case. Please read the relevant sources in order to have an overview of the case. The immediate stakeholders are Dr. Susan Lim, Singapore Medical Council (SMC) and the Brunei family.
