An ethanol plant distills alcohol from corn. The distiller processes 2.0 t/h of feed containing 15% alcohol and 82% water; the rest is inert material. The bottoms (waste) produced is 85% of feed and contains 94% water, 3.5% alcohol, and 2.5% inert material. The vapor (product) from the top of the distiller is passed through a condenser and cooled to produce the final product. Determine the rate of production of the final product and its composition.
