A converter with following specifications is required Vin =4.6 V Vout =15 V lout = 0.55 A Switching frequency= 80 kHz The switch is a MOSFET with Rds (on) of 110 m-ohm. The diode has a forward drop of 0.8 V and an on-state resistance of 15 m-ohm. Ignore switching losses.

a) Identify the converter and sketch the circuit for the converter.

b) Draw the equivalent circuit for the converter

c) Find the operating duty cycle.

d) List MOSFET losses and diode losses.

e) Determine the efficiency of the power converter.
